Yesterday, I went to the beach with my girlfriend. I was outrageously irritable and it was crowded as hell. After bodysurfing in some 1-foot mush I left my girlfriend on the beach to contemplate why she is with such an intolerable asshole. After a quick shower, rinsing off the frustrations of the day, I looked out to the sea of nameless faces littered on Bondi Beach. Fuck. How the hell am I going to find her now? And then, out of the corner of my eye, a gorgeous Belgian blonde wearing a ridiculous purple towel suit. I found her. There’s an analogy in there somewhere. Something about if you want to stand out from the crowd, have the guts to wear a ridiculous purple towel suit. It may seem safer to blend in with the crown, but then you will never be found.
